Walk with PRIDE 2019

‘Walk with PRIDE 2019’ was successfully held on 8 Dec 2019 (Sun). We were grateful to everyone for their donation and participation so that we could continue and further our mission in enhancing the services for the visually impaired. On the day, there were around 500 participants with over $1 million donation.

Our theme this year, ‘Visual Impairment is Never an Obstacle for a Brighter Future’ reminded that despite disabilities and challenges, the visually impaired can excel to their fullest and contribute to our society if opportunities are given.

We were thankful to Prof. Sophia Chan, JP (HKSAR Secretary of Food and Health), Mr. Ricky Chu, IDS (Chairperson of the Equalities Commission) and Ms. Chan Hoi Wan (Executive Director of HK Chinese Estates Holdings Ltd. for being the Guests-of-Honour of the event, as well as the presence of well-known artistes, Mr. William So and Ms. Jinny Ng.
